Current Duties/Roles with TRAIN PD at TCALL

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FIELD SERVICES MANAGER

    • Quality Management, Time Management, and Scope Management for PD Field Services provided by all TRAIN PD Center Specialists, including:

    • Development of PD Recommendations for their assigned programs PD Continuous Improvement Plans

    • Delivery of Concentrated Support to AEL Programs with special needs in consultation with state office

    • Review and approval of PD Specialists recommended PD Events and trainers

    • Coordination of training of PD Center Specialists for all Field Service functions

  • PROJECT LEADERSHIP TEAM

    • Coordinates with Executive Director and Directors to manage overall project performance

    • Monitors spending in Professional/Contracted Services budget category

    • Supervises, establishes and monitors performance goals for, and evaluates staff as assigned by Directors

    • Manages special initiatives and short-term projects as assigned by Directors

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FIELD SPECIALIST

    • Provides ongoing Professional Development consultation to local AEL programs as assigned in consultation with TWC Program Support staff, including data-driven PD needs assessment, recommendations for local PD Continuous Improvement Plans, and concentrated support to programs with special needs

    • Delivers training as needed in support of state priorities

    • Provides professional development instructional design support and subject matter expertise to PD Center leadership

    • Participates in the evaluation, observation, mentoring, and development of trainers used by TRAIN PD Participates in ongoing Professional Development initiatives to keep abreast of developments and trends in the field

    • Supports other objectives of the Professional Development Center, including research activities as approved by funder
