Current Duties/Roles with TRAIN PD at TCALL

  • Provides ongoing Professional Development consultation to local AEL programs as assigned in consultation with TWC Program Support staff, including data-driven PD needs assessment, recommendations for local PD Continuous Improvement Plans, and concentrated support to programs with special needs

  • Delivers training as needed in support of state priorities

  • Provides professional development instructional design support and subject matter expertise to PD Center leadership

  • Participates in the evaluation, observation, mentoring, and development of trainers used by TRAIN PD

  • Participates in ongoing Professional Development initiatives to keep abreast of developments and trends in the field

  • Supports other objectives of the Professional Development Center, including research activities as approved by funder
