Current Duties/Roles with TCALL

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONTENT DEVELOPMENT, DELIVERY AND EVALUATION

    • Provides professional development instructional design support to PD Center leadership

    • Assists in the evaluation of contract trainers

    • Participates in ongoing Professional Development initiatives

    • Supports other objectives of the PD Center, including research activities as approved by funder

  • PD COORDINATOR SUPPORT AND COMMUNICATIONS

    • Schedules, plans content, and makes staff assignments for monthly PD Coordinator WebEx meetings

    • Moderates PD Portal Community of Practice and Email discussion list for PD Coordinators

    • Identifies and recommends TCALL Library acquisitions and website content features related to professional development for continuous program improvement

    • Manages TEAMS data entry of PD activities, including liaison with TWC to obtain appropriate TEAMS access for TRAIN PD staff who need it

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FIELD SERVICES MANAGER

    • Quality Management, Time Management, and Scope Management for PD Field Services provided by all TRAIN PD Center Specialists, including:

    • Development of PD Recommendations for their assigned programs PD Continuous Improvement Plans

    • Delivery of Concentrated Support to AEL Programs with special needs in consultation with state office

    • Review and approval of PD Specialists recommended PD Events and trainers

    • Coordination of training of PD Center Specialists for all Field Service functions

  • PROJECT LEADERSHIP TEAM & LIAISON TO NATIONAL INITIATIVES

    • Coordinates with Executive Director and Directors to manage overall project performance

    • Supports Directors in development of project and budget planning and oversight

    • Monitors spending in Professional/Contracted Services budget category

    • Supervises, establishes and monitors performance goals for, and evaluates staff as assigned by Directors

    • Manages special initiatives and short-term projects as assigned by Directors

    • Serves as TCALL liaison to national adult education and literacy professional development and resource projects and initiatives
