Taught both Adult Secondary Education students and Adult Basic Education Students, and trained other adult educators teaching strategies and how to incorporate technology into their instruction.
Current Duties/Roles with TRAIN PD at TCALL
Provide support to development, delivery or facilitation of professional development for adult educators via distance learning.
Provides ongoing Professional Development consultation to local AEL programs as assigned in consultation with TWC Program Support staff, including data-driven PD needs assessment, recommendations for local PD Continuous Improvement Plans, and concentrated support to programs with special needs
Delivers training as needed in support of state priorities
Provides professional development instructional design support and technology integration subject matter expertise to PD Center leadership
Participates in the evaluation, observation, mentoring, and development of trainers used by TRAIN PD
Participates in ongoing Professional Development initiatives to keep abreast of developments and trends in the field
Supports other objectives of the Professional Development Center, including research activities as approved by funder
