Additional Information: | Basic Computer Skills Training (BCST) - Computer skills to equip individuals with needs for entry level job, Microsoft Office Specialist Training (MOST) Prepares individuals for the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in Microsoft Word and Excel, Professional Office Skills Training - Provides individuals will the skills required for a job in office administration positions. Professional Development Seminars. broadens professional skills, including QuickBooks Basics as a core component, customer service classes taught by Tarrant County College instructors, and other professional development topics; Next Level - supports current students, alumni, and community members with under-resourced backgrounds. The program includes seminars in English and Spanish, covering salary negotiation, Entrepreneurship 101, resume creation, mock interviews, and many other skill building tools needed to attain and keep a job. We offer several successful programs: Basic Computer Skills Training (BCST), a beginner class for students who have used a computer but not as a part of their daily routine or have never utilized computers in a professional setting. Computers Skills Training II (CST II), Computer Skills Training allows students with basic knowledge to take the next step in understanding Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In this course, students will learn more advanced techniques such as mail merge, advanced functions, and animations. Professional Office Skills Training (POST) broadens professional skills, including QuickBooks Basics as a core component, customer service classes taught by Tarrant County College instructors, public speaking, and other professional development topics. The Microsoft Office Specialist Training (MOST) course develops a technical understanding of the Microsoft programs and prepares students to sit for the globally recognized Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Next Level supports current students, alumni, and community members with under-resourced backgrounds. The program includes seminars in English and Spanish, covering salary negotiation, Entrepeneurship 101, resume creation, mock interviews, and many other skill building tools needed to attain and keep a job. |
