| Additional Information: | The Permian Basin Adult Literacy Center offers three distinct services that address specific literacy skills. English Language Learning (ELL) focuses on immediate, practical instruction in vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation skills, and grammar. Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) encompasses the development of reading and writing skills. Digital Literacy (DL) includes basic computer skills, such as typing and navigating the operating system, as well as intermediate Microsoft Office and web browser usage. In addition, we have plans to start incorporating financial and health literacy components to our classes and work related classes to help prepare Low-Skilled Adults for the Workplace. Closed on Fridays. Open in Summer. |
